A Word of Greeting
Making Fushimi Inari a place everyone, locals and the tourists alike, can enjoy!
Fushimi Inari Shrine was ranked as the top tourist spot in Japan in 2014 research of foreign visitors done by TripAdvisor, the biggest word-of-mouth website.
To further improve Internet access for our many domestic and international tourists, the Committee for a Prosperous Inari has set up free wi-fi services. We also created this website, "Fushimi Inari Village" to provide detailed information about this area and our area member shops in Japanese, English and Chinese.
Committee for a Prosperous Inari consists of 24 shops in this shopping district of more than 60 years' history. The member shops include eateries, cafés, shops selling clothing, household items. We are striving to see that this district remains a pleasant shopping area for both locals and tourists.
The "Fushimi Inari Village" website makes information on each member shop available and provides insider information on tourist spots and walking routes we recommend. Purchase products only available in Inari from the online shopping section of this site.
For a better and more enjoyable Fushimi Inari area!
